| Focacceria da Paolo del 1996 Via Capellini, 36 Great pizza overall but our favorite is the pesto pizza! This is a great take away place and eat down by the dock. They make a wonderful local focaccia with stracchino cheese as well as desserts. |  |
| Bajeico’, La Bottega del Pesto Via Capellini, 70 This shop makes some of the best pesto. You can get a cup of pasta for your walk or buy a jar of freshly made pesto and take it back to the apartment to make your own pasta. |  |

This great little place is just inside the Carugio (old town center) on Via Capellini, the right after the entrance arch. There are so many special flavors that it is hard to choose which one to try, so the only solution is to go back several times to try them all!
